The Continental knitting method sees yarn held in the left hand, while the right needle scoops up the yarn to make a stitch. It is an excellent method that is kind on the wrist. If you have always wanted to give this method a go but didn’t know where to start, here is your chance to learn!
In this hour-long lesson our experienced tutor will explain the advantages of this technique, as well as demonstrate how to hold the yarn in your left hand with methods for tensioning. You will also learn how to create a knit stitch and purl stitch Continental style.
During the lesson students will create a small knitted sample on 20 stitches.
