London Craft Guide
Yarn in the City has been running the Great London Yarn Crawl since 2013 and have gotten to know the cities best yarn, fabric and haberdashery shops in the process. And now they have put all of that knowledge into this fabulous guide book.
Here's what the authors have to say:
Being multi-craftual, we've often sought out or heard about other amazing crafty places to visit that maybe didn't fit in with being part of the GLYC but that we're sure other passionate makers would want to know about.
Knowing that similar guides exist in Paris and Tokyo, it seemed a natural fit to share our joy for London's craft scene with everyone who loves it as much as we do, and anyone who can't make it here in person to participate in the GLYC, or visit these places themselves.
The book includes profiles of yarn, sewing and haberdashery shops from across the City including those involved in the GLYC, popular favourites, lesser-known gems, and a few options beyond as well. The book also features patterns for small, portable projects that are perfect for holiday crafting including the knitting projects pictured here.
