World Ovarian Cancer Day Charity Event

Cancer in its various forms affect most of us in one way or another these days; whether you yourself or someone you know is diagnosed, it's an unfortunate and prevalent reality. So this Sunday 8 May, 2016 from 12 - 3pm we are going to try and do our little part to raise awareness and funds for Target Ovarian Cancer.

Our friend Lyn Roberts (of the stunning Sterling Silver crochet hooks) has organized The Big Knit & Knatter for this Sunday, and there will be events taking place all over the country. Lyn has had some gorgeous yarn dyed a bright teal color and some cute patterns designed to match, all proceeds of which will go to charity. There are three different yarn bases, a silky soft Bluefaced Leister and Silk blend, a squichy Bluefaced Leister and Bamboo and lastly a lovely DK weight 100% Organic Merino. The yarn, pattern and kits will be available in the shop this weekend and will be on sale until they're gone. Lyn has also made some super cute stitch markers!
