Helen Stewart recently relaunched one of our favourite shawls: Edinburgh Lanes. We had the opportunity to collaborate on this shawl with Helen and Dami from Magpie Fibers back in 2019 which was incredibly fun. It's a gorgeous asymmetrical shawl, which alternates sections of cosy garter stitch with a simple lace-stitch pattern.
Launched at 2019’s Edinburgh Yarn Festival, the shawl’s gentle, wandering fade, stripes and texture bring to mind the secret alleyways and shifting views of the city.
This is a relaxing and rewarding knit designed to show off three skeins of lovely yarn.
We thought it'd be fun to put some new kits together for the relaunch.
Pattern is not included in the yarn and can be purchased separately on Ravelry.
