A Yarn Story's first blend, Opus, is a lush spin of Falkland merino and baby alpaca. The lofty 4-ply is perfect for garments and accessories and has a super-soft handle, more similar to cashmere than your typical merino/alpaca blend – it is truly a luxurious and hardwearing yarn.

Opus

What a gorgeous yarn. Knits beautifully, really good stitch definition. I’ve used it in combination with spin cycle dreamstate which has been an absolute pleasure . However - I am now completely hooked on opus - just bought more. It is beautiful to knit with.

I love opus. Knits up a dream. The only improvement there could possibly be would be the inclusion of a vibrant dayglo pink

I love your shop and I adore Opus! Whenever I am in England I make sure I can make my way to Bath to visit the store and your staff to pick up some Opus, check out your Spincycle Wall, looks for deals, new bags from Hide and Hammer, and if I’m lucky Peaches will be in shop and you too Carmen! Your shop has been a favorite of mine since you opened! Keep up the good work and thanks for always sending packages to me so quickly when I order online! You and the girls can often get a package to me quicker than American knit shops! I am so happy I stumbled into your shop on a visit many years ago!
