Compatible Cashmere is an ultra soft and exclusive lace weight yarn in 100% Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified Cashmere. The yarn can be knitted on its own, held double, on 3mm needles or as an alternative to Soft Silk Mohair in larger gauge projects.
The Cashmere originates from China and Mongolia and the yarn is produced in Italy. Please be aware that fibres from Cashmere are shorter than, for example, fibres from Merino, which means that the finished knit requires special care in relation to pilling. We recommend the use of a Cashmere Comb or carefully cutting the loose fibres off with a pair of scissors to maintain your knit in perfect condition.
Knitting for Olive yarns are traceable back to the individual farms, which means they know exactly which farms, farmers, and goats their wool comes from.
