The Harlekin Blanket, a beautiful pattern by Trine Bertelsen of CaMaRose, is knit flat back and forth using the wonderfully clever intarsia technique.
Knit one colour at a time, intarsia is a fantastic way to avoid long floats when knitting large sections of a contrasting colour. The colour changes are executed by placing the colour you just knit with above the new colour you're about to knit with – this is done on both the right side (RS) and the wrong side (WS) of the work and avoids gaps in the finished product.
You will receive a printed copy of this pattern in English.
