Walcot Yarns' first blend, Opus, is a lush spin of Falkland merino and baby alpaca. The lofty 4-ply is perfect for garments and accessories and has a super-soft handle, more similar to cashmere than your typical merino/alpaca blend – it is truly a luxurious and hardwearing yarn.

Beautiful yarn

This is a beautiful yarn with a nice soft feel yet robust and lovely to knit with. I'm knitting it with a spincycle yarn for a Cheryl Faust shawl and it's a pleasure to use 😊
