Escape to the beautiful Berkshires this May for a peaceful and inspiring knitting retreat, hosted by Carmen of A Yarn Story and Amanda of Prado de Lana. Joined by renowned designer and teacher Samantha Guerin, this special weekend offers the perfect blend of creativity, relaxation, and connection to the fibres that bring your craft to life.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Berkshires, this retreat is designed to give you time to slow down, learn, and enjoy knitting in wonderful company. Over the week, Samantha will lead a hands-on knitting class, welcoming knitters of all experience levels. Whether you’re hoping to refine your techniques, build confidence, or explore new creative ideas, Samantha’s thoughtful teaching style will leave you inspired and energised in your craft.
One of the highlights of the retreat is a special morning spent with shepherdess Amanda at Prado de Lana. You’ll have the rare opportunity to meet and learn about her flock of sheep and gain insight into the wool-to-yarn journey. This immersive experience brings a deeper appreciation for the fibres we knit with and the care that goes into producing them.
Throughout the week, you’ll be nourished with delicious meals made with locally sourced ingredients, thoughtfully prepared so you can relax and fully enjoy your time away. Each guest will also receive a carefully curated goodie bag, filled with knitting treats and thoughtful surprises to take home.
