Sourced, spun and dyed in the US, the fabulous Quarry from Brooklyn Tweed doesn’t hold back when it come to warmth, chunkiness and total gorgeousness!
Quarry takes three strands of woollen-spun American Targhee-Columbia fleece and squishes them together for this beautifully plump yet hard-wearing yarn that’s great for extra-warm sweaters, blankets and accessories.
Even though the weight is heavier there is still plenty of drape on offer, and the natural texture produces beautiful cables and a tactile fabric full of character, in a range of neutral heathered shades.
Because of the nature of the yarn, it must be knit gently as it can occasionally break (therefore, returns cannot be accepted for this reason alone).

It looks weird in the skein and feels a little felty but once its knitted and blocked it makes a really squishy warm garment. I got the moonstone as a gift for Christmas and had to get the lapis as I love the blue and need to knit another jumper to stop me wearing straight through the first
