Join us in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside for a relaxed and restorative knitting retreat at the stunning Melmerby Hall. This is our classic Country House retreat - a chance to slow down, enjoy your knitting, and spend time with fellow makers in a peaceful setting.
Unlike some retreats with packed schedules, this week is intentionally loose and relaxed. The idea is to give you space to enjoy the retreat in whatever way feels best to you.
You might choose to wake early and explore the surrounding fells, or sleep in and spend the morning knitting in your pyjamas with a cup of tea. There’s no pressure and no rigid timetable - just time to unwind, knit, and enjoy good company.

Melmerby Hall is a beautiful country house surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Cumbria and the nearby Lake District. The setting offers the perfect backdrop for a peaceful knitting retreat - comfortable, welcoming, and full of character.
Accommodation & Pricing
We have space for a maximum of 22 guests.
Single Room - £1,595
• Private bedroom
• Ideal if you would like your own space during the retreat
Shared Room - £1,395 per person
• Shared bedroom with two beds
• Perfect for friends attending together
Shared rooms must be booked together, we don't pair strangers up together.
Booking & Payment
To secure your place, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance (70%) will be due no later than 16 weeks prior to the retreat. The exact balance due date will be confirmed after booking and an invoice will be sent in advance of the due date.
Bookings made within 16 weeks of the retreat must be paid in full at the time of booking.
If the balance payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to release your place to another guest.
While we will send reminder emails ahead of the balance due date, it remains the guest’s responsibility to ensure payment is made on time.
Places are limited and our retreats often sell out, so we recommend booking early if you would like to join us.
