These are the final Hide & Hammer bags.
Following the tragic loss of founder and maker Nu in December 2025, friends and family came together to complete the remaining pieces in her workshop. Rivets were set, straps attached, and finishing touches added with care, love, and respect for her work.
Each bag is unique. Some may show small imperfections, but every one carries the spirit of the maker who designed it and the people who finished it in her honour.
Released on Nu's birthday, all proceeds from these bags will go directly to her husband, Tom.

#03 Iconic Roll Top Project Bag
Hide & Hammer’s excellent water-resistant canvas Roll Top Project Bags are a must-have for any knitter!
With plenty of room to stash yarn, notions and works-in-progress, each bag is cleverly designed to roll down into a handy yarn bucket, ideal for knit-night or knitting on the go.
The bags each feature five levels of adjustment, making them suitable for projects large and small from jumpers and shawls to socks and granny squares. Simply adjust the bag to size using the brass-stud closures so things stay in place.
On the outside, smart removable leather straps keep the bag and its contents safe and secure. Inside, you’ll find plenty of internal pockets to keep yourself organised, including three needle/pen pockets, a section for notions and a dedicated space to store A5 patterns.
The bags are handmade in Hide & Hammer’s local workshop, using high-quality materials sourced from the UK. Each bag comes with the company's logo embossed on the premium leather handle.
