Martindale a highly patterned sleeveless top, ideal for using up small amounts of yarn. The sample uses six contrast colours, but you certainly can choose more or fewer colours. Have fun choosing your coulour combinations: be bold with bright contrasting colours or go for subtle shades that blend onto each other. Or use a variegated yarn to add some drama to your colourwork!
This top looks good over a plain shirt or tee shirt. Layer it over a floral dress for a vintage look. Wear it loose or make it more fitted: choose the fit you want from the multiple sizes.
This garment is knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up with steeks used to create and shape the openings of each armhole and neck. The neckband and armhole bands are picked up and knit from around the steeks once they have been cut. The shoulders are seamlessly joined together using a three-needle cast-off.
