RECOMMENDED YARN
Worsted weight yarn. For a scarf with 18 repeats (which matches length listed above), you’ll need approximately:
- background color: 385 yards / 350 meters /175 g
- accent color: 275 yards / 250 meters / 125 g
If you want to add or remove any repeats, or if you want to use a different accent color for each repeat, you’ll need need approximately this much yarn per colorwork repeat:
- background color: 21 yards / 19 meters / 9.5 g
- accent color: 15.5 yards / 14 meters / 7 g
NEEDLES & TOOLS
• US 8 (5 mm) DPNs, or circular knitting needles with 22” (55 cm) cable or longer for knitting in the round with magic loop
• 4 stitch markers --it’s helpful if you can tell one apart from the rest
• tapestry needle for seaming
