Tin Can Knits

Tin Can Knits patterns are aimed at all levels and the emphasis is on clear, accessible instructions with minimum fuss and plenty of style. The company was started in Canada by knitwear designers Alexa Ludeman and Emily Wessel, who now lives in Edinburgh, UK with her husband and son.

With Alexa’s background in photography and Emily’s background in architecture, they bring stacks of creative flair and design sense to all their patterns, which include modern but traditional garments for kids, as well as blankets and accessories with fun colourful geometric designs.

The friends confess that they love lace, cables, textures, sizes for all, and keeping seaming to a minimum… The result is beautiful patterns that are a pleasure to knit and great to wear and use.
